Uncommon Knowledge with US senator Ted Cruz – IOTW Report

Uncommon Knowledge with US senator Ted Cruz

Video – from March 14, 2013 – two months into Ted Cruz’s Senatorial term.

In just two months, Cruz was being called a “Joe McCarthy”, called mean and causing Democrats and RINOs to bash him. His response? “The two months I’ve been here, I’ve been doing my job. I’ve been doing what I think the citizens of Texas elected me to do which is go and stand for Conservative principles”.

  1. Slightly off topic, I recently bought Cruz’s book, A Time for Truth. I thought it might be a bore, but I figured even if I didn’t like it, I didn’t mind donating to Cruz’s cause a little more. I am about halfway through the book, and I’m happy to report that I couldn’t have been more wrong. I am finding it a fascinating page-turner. His family history and his life history are remarkable. And his awareness of some of his own faults (awareness that moderates his behavior in positive ways) is reassuring. I honestly believe most politicians (at least the higher profile ones) don’t think they HAVE any faults. I want him to win more than ever, now.

  2. Even thought the left remains purposely clueless, McCarthy was absolutely right about the communist infiltration of America! In fact, he didn’t know the half of it!!!

  3. GGW I am about 1/3 into the book (college years) and am enjoying it. I recommend it to all. Initially I ordered the Kindle version and then bought the hard copy when the worthless NYT was keeping Cruz off the best seller list.

  4. Funny when John McLame was bucking against the Republican Senate back in the day, the press labeled him a hero, the “Maverick” for going against the GOP leadership.

Now Cruz does it and he’s considered a troublemaker? LMAO!
