“Can We Keep It?”

A British family found something unusual washed up on a Welsh beach.

 Smile with WWII Mine

They thought it was a “beach buoy” and pose for all kinds of pictures with the artifact.

It wasn’t a buoy.

That will be a vacation long remembered by the Gravell family.

  1. It may be a dud. The best thing to do when you think it’s a bomb, get a cutting torch and look inside.
Pounding on it with a #20 pound sledgehammer also is a good idea.
Letting children play with it is not a good idea.

  2. They showed up on the West Coast of Ireland in the late forties and early fifties. I remember well the warnings. If you see something
floating in the bay. Stay away and notify the authorities. They were either German or British mines that broke from their moorings.. GRBoomer you got it. A bomb doesn’t float

  3. Speaking of George Bush… It always amazed me that the media made a big deal of not finding Sadam’s weapons of mass destruction when we know he had them and that he hid them. We’re still finding WWII stuff today. We’ll still be finding Sadam’s stash in 2073!
