AllenBWest: The Material Girl may be a little bent out of shape by her brother Christopher Ciccone’s defense of jailed Kentucky clerk Kim Davis. Ciccone is an openly gay man but posted a fiery defense of Davis. “Once again, the gay community feels the need to be sore winners,” Ciccone wrote.  MORE

  1. How can she be a Democrat and not be for gay marriage. She should also be for abortion, and the confiscation of people’s money and given over to social programs. Either she’s confused as to what a Democrat is, or she’s just an attention whore. Someone is paying her to do what she’s doing. But looking at her personal history, she isn’t too bright in making the right decisions for herself. Leave her in jail where she can’t vote Democrat.

  2. Good for him. As I’ve mentioned before I have a few gay friends and they are getting more pissed about this sort of thing done by the extremist gay bullies. This fellow makes great points and I especially like his remark about the gays being “sore winners”. It’s describes them quite well as in my experience a sore winner was always a bully in word, deed and soul. Hell, maybe he ought to make that a hashtag.

  3. Definition of a “sore winner”: Someone who has just had multiple encounters of anal sex with multiple partners of the same sex with the blessing of Obama. Often misspelled “sore wieners”…

  4. Many KY counties are predominantly partisan. Jefferson Co. (Louisvile) is a strong Democratic Co.
Quite often, there are no oppositon party challengers in the primaries. This is more true with clerks. In KY, you can only vote for the party you are registered in at the primary and can vote for whoever in the general ( Rs pick their candidate and Ds pick their’s to send to the general).

What this means is that a Republican in Louisville may never actually get a vote at all because no R ran in the primary. Likewise for a D in a R county. The primary winner advances unopposed in November.

So in many very parisan KY counties, one may register for that party simply to have more of a say on their representatives.

On another note, I can only imagine the head explosions in the event a county or state official refused to issue a gun permit because of their religious beliefs.
