A ‘GUN SURVEY’ was recently issued to students at a high school in Texas and it has a lot of people in an uproar. Hendrickson High School in Pflugerville, Texas felt the need to pry into personal information including invasive questions about the firearms families own as well as what their political views are. Unbelievable.
Some of the questions this school feels they have the right to ask are:

I’d tell them that it’s none of their damned business to know how many guns (or what their politics are) their family may have.
Either do one of two things on the survey.
1. Lie your azz off.
2. Tell them you belong to the phuckliberalgungrabbers party.
I wonder if anyone answered “sheep” to political views?
Tear it up and throw it away.
Has no relevance to “education.”

Listen to the world around us.
The Left has a “Turn Texas Blue” campaign. Like Communists of all stripes, they’ve given up on parents. Instead, they’re going after our kids. The single most liberal group of people in Texas, and I presume anywhere, are teachers and administrators. The GOOD teachers get swept along in the maelstrom of PC, Common Core, “departmental curriculum” (stick to the Party Line), etc.
This type of thing is the agenda. I guarantee that the public excuse will be something like, “We want to teach statistics using fun, real-life, relevant examples and thought guns and how our students use and perceive them would be a great statistical database to use.” Such innocuous-sounding reasoning needs to have a loud, resounding BULLSH!T called on it.
If you want to study statistics, using an oft-used product or service within a survey group, use something like music, toothpaste, candy or soft drinks.
Classic case of an out-of-touch idiot not knowing his.her audience, which is so typical of “educators”.
They are probably trying to identify liberals who hate the gubmit. Those folks have been shooting the hell out of schools, theaters, army bases and congresswomen the past few years.
