Worked all summer in close proximity to the Wind River Indian Rez, and had nearly daily contact with Arapaho & Shoshone Induns. Guess what? Some are BIG Washington Redskins fans and others like Kansas City. Met a whole clan who root for the Cleveland Indians and there are some who like the Atlanta Braves. They wear their teams’ gear proudly and even non-sports fans are not offended by the use of logos with Induns. Know what they have to say to Lib-dorks? “Do not tell us what we should be offended by!” And to gubmint? “Please, QUIT helping us!!!” Not only that but the Wyoming Indian HS teams are the “Chiefs.” Native Americans are too polite to say it, but I’m not – Gov. Brown, Go piss up a rope, then FOAD, or ESAD!
I recently learned that in Russia “RED” has two meanings. One is the color the other is” Beautiful”. So just read RED as beautiful and who can argue that beautiful is anything but a compliment.
