Well, the Waffle House doesn’t like guns. They don’t want armed customers. How that policy stops armed robbers is beyond me. Fortunately for the Twitwaffle House, a customer disregarded their no gun policy and delivered a tax relief shot to some shitestain.

So the would be robber is now scattered, smothered and will soon be covered. Hopefully the corporate morons at Awful House (as we fondly called it many years ago when I worked graveyard shift and there was nowhere else open to eat when we got off work at 4 or 5 am other than a 24 hour Krystal) will back off on the no gun policy now that it has been proven to be effective for customer / employee safety.
I’ll know a change has come to America when, with such events, the media reports matter-of-factly on the firearm and ammunition the defender used.
Twat House can play along with the loudmouth leftist bullies and vocalize how they ban guns. And at the same time, they can watch as their loyal gun owning “redneck” customer base silently erodes and they start closing up stores. It can happen very easily.
Choose your side Twat House. For now they are playing both sides and hoping this goes away. The south is under attack. Their culture is being suffocated. Sad.
My prayers for the shooter. I hope he doesn’t suffer much for what he had to do and regains peace.
He has a heavy burden now for the rest of his life.
I think the gun/no gun policy is left to the local franchises, I don’t think it’s corporate wide.
Meanwhile, I’m glad the robber is now DRT (Dead Right There), and taking that permanent dirt nap.
I did a stint at Waffle House. Midnight to 8am.
I kept a pan of hot grease on the stove in case a robber tried to herd us to the back – they would suffer before me because I would’ve flinged the whole pan into their face.
Sounds reasonable and effective.
I like Waffle House for several reasons – they are the definition of a greasy spoon, they are always the first place to re-open after a hurricane or local disaster and Kid Rock likes eating there.
But now that I know they are anti-gun I will no longer eat there. Fuck ’em. I don’t want to get shot by some criminal Obama’s Kid whilst dining on waffles, bacon and grits.
Until corporate issues a statement that the individual franchises are harming the public by issuing a no gun policy, I’m not satisfied with The Waffle House.
