H-1B EXPERT: MARCO RUBIO FAKES OPPOSITION TO H-1B OUTSOURCING

BigGovernment: Marco Rubio is trying to defend his unpopular effort to expand the controversial  H-1B outsourcing program by claiming that he wants to protect American professionals from being replaced by low-wage foreign professionals.

In a Thursday morning radio interview, Rubio amped up the defensive claims he made at Wednesday night’s CNBC debate. Rubio said that he “proposed… reforms” that would prevent wealthy corporations from using foreign professionals as low-cost alternatives to experienced American professionals.

But Rubio’s claim is “an outright fabrication,” said Howard University’s Ron Hira, an expert on the H-1B outsourcing program. Rubio “has not included any such [anti-abuse] proposal in his bill, even though he had ample opportunity to do so.”  more

  1. It would appear that America has become a sanctuary country thanks to the efforts of B. Hussein Obama and an anti-American Congress including it’s poster boy Rubio! We voters just need to remember that Rubio is a skunk in sheeps clothing. He is, and is happy about it, wholeheartedly for open borders and an unlimited invasion by foreigners from every 3rd world country! He indeed does stink politically and should be rejected outright no matter what sycophant scribblers say constantly about his so-called merits!

  2. This is where sh1t gets fracked up. Government is to fracking big, to complicated and un-understandabble! H-1B visas were designed by government, so to make them effective, they need to only appeal to their donors that know how to manipulate the process that has nothing to do with what the original problem was in the first place, got it? Next, add tax incentives to help make H-1B a great thing for another donor so he gets a farm subsidy for not milking cows he doesn’t own, and gets to write off the lost milk. Next Trump comes in that has used every single trick ever invented and says, “I’ll make America Great Again” because I know how to abuse it, and WHAMO! BOOM! Trump leads the free world into prosperity! Trump creates choke free watermelon and wreck free scooters and all the worlds problems are solved! Yall sing with me:

  4. H1B to the US is like Syrians to Germany.

We’re too stupid to do the real work, so we import smart people.

The Germans are too old to wipe their asses or tend their gardens, so they import Syrians.

  5. The H1-B program is actually a good program if it’s policed properly (or at all) and not abused (see Disney Corp and Walt whose ashes are spinning like a prop in a Spielberg movie). It allows a company to get needed expertise where none is available in the current workplace. If done correctly that expertise can be passed to American workers over time at at some point the foreign worker is given a golden handshake and sent on their way. A foreign worker who gets an H1-B should have no illusions as to the permanence of their jobs just that they get one for some time in the US. The problem comes when the business does either no real search or some half-assed one that not surprisingly fails to turn up any native candidates. The feds need to police this program and probably limit the number that can be issued each year. In addition each one should come with a expiry date which would force the employer to renew, with reasons a foreign worker kept on after the visa expires.
