  1. It clearly was a case of a congressman bringing home the bacon to his state. However there is one two lane highway to the Kenai peninsula and it is crowded and deadly. This bridge to ‘nowhere’ would have bypassed a large section of the worst most deadly part of the highway. It will someday be built
