Texas Sues Feds to Block Syrian Refugees

BigGovernment: The Texas Attorney General has filed a lawsuit against the federal government to block the resettlement of Syrian refugees in Texas.

Citing the Refugee Act of 1980, Attorney General Ken Paxton filed a lawsuit in federal court to stop the federal government from placing Syrian refugees with non-profit organizations in Texas. The act requires that the federal government consult with state authorities. Reports indicate that the federal government plans to place additional Syrian refugees in Texas as soon as this coming Friday.

The federal government is calling on the agency responsible for placing refugees in Texas to do so without disclosing even basic information that would help Texas authorities resolve their security concerns, Paxton’s office said in a press release obtained by Breitbart Texas. read more

    I see the idiotic Gov of my former state, Hickenlooper, has laid out the welcome mat and Texas is just a hop and a skip away.

    So while your people are in court doing your “SOOING” the refugees will be in your state before the judge smacks his gavel.

    The Gov should have the Guard and the Texas Rangers guarding every road at the boarders. Stop them and send them to California.

  9. Texas needs to organize a Statewide Posse FORTHWITH and to activate the Texas National Guard, all DPS and Rangers as well. They need 150,000 armed Texans ready to stand up for their state and to be prepared to face off with their brothers and cousins and friends sent by Washington that are escorting these animals into Texas. They need to freeze the airports and set up roadblocks.

    The entire nation needs to watch as Texans stand up to the tyrant and terrorist in Washington. All eyes need to be focused on how far these two, odinga and hitlery, will go to import their fellow terrorists into our home towns. The state of Texas will have the bully pulpit and all cameras, unedited and unfiltered, live on national TV to explain that they have the right to control their own state. ITS THE FUCKING LAW IN AMERICA !!!!

    Then, lets see what odinga does. Will he order his US Marshall’s and FBI and US Marine Corps to open fire on the Texans ?? Will those men and women carry out UNLAWFUL ORDERS that they know are UNLAWFUL ORDERS and kill or be killed for odinga the nut job ?? Will America stand by and watch their fellow citizens be slaughtered by odinga so he can give their home towns to his moslime filth brethren from syria ?? Will the other Governors in the adjoining states send mutual aid to Texas ???

    Many of us would be willing to go to Texas and be deputized and support our fellow American CITIZENS in the great state of Texas. Let Texas know, we support you and stand ready. LEAD THE WAY TEXAS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! even lots us Yankees got your back.

Guarding roads into Texas is not enough (not to mention that it would put interstate travel into gridlock, since all traffic would have to be stopped and searched thoroughly), and there’s not enough soldiers in the whole country to guard the entire 2,850 miles of Texas borders. Not only would it be impossible; people would not put up with it if it were possible. If you can’t stop them at the U.S. border, then you might as well forget about it.

  11. This refuge stuffing is such an obvious “Ef you” to Texas conservatives and ALL conservatives, by O’vindictive and his cohorts, it is ridiculous and despicable! Texas is already choking on illegals allowed to freely sashay across the border daily. It is also what we in every state can anticipate, as our tyrant government continues to deal in human trafficking.
