Carly Fiorina says to the Morning Shmoes that the ATF has stated that guns Farook used in his Muslim terror attack were bought by a police officer. This is likely the unnamed “acquaintance” yet to be interviewed.

Would one of the more experienced gun experts here please describe how the federal background check was used and abused by this terrorist….I’m a novice, but I count two…at least…
A mini “Fast and Furious” deal, or a bad cop?
I thought “straw purchases” were illegal.
The police officer is likely to claim these guns were stolen.
Where did they buy the black powder for the pipe bombs? Assuming they didn’t have high explosives from their visitor IED Islamic Cell
Why not! Some of the Mexican Drug Cartel guns were bought by Obama (and most of the ISIS weaponry)!
black powder is available off the shelf for muzzeloading rifles. Its widely available. During the Great Panic of 2013 it was smokeless powder that was hard to find. Modern smokeless powder is used in pretty much all rifle and pistol cartridges. It doesn’t explode if made into a pipe bomb.
Cally Fornia says WHAT…?
🙂
Many common chemicals can be made into explosives, ISIS knows them all, we educated them here and over there.
As far as the cop goes, too many questions remain to answer how many, first on the list, was he a FFL dealer or a family member. My guess is no to the second that leaves the FFL question.
Would have to see the 4473 form to more accurately answer how many Federal, will leave Brad to answer the CA laws.
Sold a lot of antique/old ammo in GunBroker, the shop had been in business since the ’40s. We had a barn full of new/old stock. You wouldn’t believe what a box of .44 copper rim fire Henry sold for.
We would NEVER ship to CA, that’s all I’m gonna say about that.
Could be a lot of both CA and Federal laws.
They aren’t interviewing him yet because they want to have the answers before they ask the questions.
Pyrodex explodes just fine, harder to ignite, i.e. takes more than just a spark, if restrained,
It go boom !
isn’t his brother a cop? thought i read it somewhere.
wrong info. a victim’s husband was officer.
Guess what, he’s still in big – assed trouble. Part of the deal of being a police officer is making sure that two things are always secured, your gun and your shield.
Thank you…so, it’s two for sure and California laws ain’t even in consideration yet…
I read an article recently that made reference to an explosive that is relatively easy for home grown jihadis to make based on hydrogen peroxide. It is used to make explosive suicide vests and small anti personnel bombs.
Those are what worry me because they can do so much damage in a crowded area. Look around at how many backpacks people carry. Some smart jihadi with a couple of friends can do tremendous damage in a very short time.
