Senator Patrick Leahy (D – VT) has put forward an amendment to a nuclear safety bill that “would prohibit the U.S. government from barring any individual from entering the country based on their religion.”
Wait, I was told it was unconstitutional already, why the need for this rider? Others are saying if this bill passes it would alter current immigration policy making it nearly impossible to screen people from problem states (i.e. Muslim terrorist factories).
