During Sunday’s New York Giants – Carolina Panthers game, Giants star Wide Receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and Panthers Cornerback Josh Norman spent the game working on their personal feud.
The conflict got particularly ugly with a dangerous cheap shot by Beckham to Norman’s head. Last night the league handed down a one game suspension to Beckham.
(He should have to spend the day watching the movie Concussion over and over.)
Well. That is…something. Since I know nothing about football, I will stop right there. But I will also request that Doug Gottlieb refrain from commenting on our Constitution.
As a Vikings Fan, I approve of this suspension.

As a long time Panthers fan, it should have been more. Thankfully Norman wasn’t injured during the helmet blast and OBJr just showed the rest of the nation his ass. Keep Pounding Carolina!
Should be for the rest of the season. Tried to seriously hurt Norman. If it was a lesser known player, that’s what they would have gotten. 1 game is a wrist slap for a hit like that right in the earhole.

So the NFL Insider is reporting that there are sources that revealed this eminated from pregame and ongoing badgering over OBJ being a homosexual. The verbal abuse being directed at him was heard on the sidelines by a number of witnesses.
Its being down played now because the P.C. bastards and Goodhell at the NFL are paralyzed by having to choose between BLM type black bigot homo abusers and closeted homosexual OBJ. They have two victim classes at each others throats. Awesome.

As much as I hate rules wussifying football, the NFL needs to adopt the “targeting” rule that college has. And a $53K fine? Not enough to make a dent in OBJ’s paycheck. Make it hurt!
