Listen, it doesn’t take a rocket surgeon to figure out that Trump, if there are no shenanigans, is going to be the Republican nominee. What am I supposed to believe, polls or my lying eyes?

Trump is packing arenas with thousands of people. Sometimes he holds 2 rallies in the same place on the same day so the people turned away can get a chance to see him. 30,000 people showed up to see the New Yawker in Alabama. This simply does not happen in a primary season.

Ted Cruz, Trump’s closest rival, is proud to report that their biggest event had 2000 people.

Gateway Pundit has a story about Trump’s popularity being even bigger than what the media is reporting.

  3. I don’t know if it has made national news yet, but the VA GOP is up to their old tricks again. If a Repub goes in to vote in the primary and asks for a Republican ballot, they’re going to ASK THAT VOTER TO SIGN A LOYALTY PLEDGE more or less giving your word you won’t vote for Trump, because in their view, he’s not a Republican.

    No word on what they’ll do if you refuse.

    This has to be the biggest PR debacle these morons have pulled in a long time. The Good Ol’ Boys are not going quietly.

    Hell, they even have a challenger ready to primary Dave Brat for Cantor’s old seat!

  8. A LOYALTY PLEDGE more or less giving your word you won’t vote for Trump, because in their view, he’s not a Republican.

    That’s humorous, the Republican machine looking for promises to be made and also honored! Like what we see almost every day in DC, right?

  11. I seem to remember large crowds, yuge even, reported at Romney events in ’08, only to see 100% voter support for the demonrat Obama in at least 59 precincts in Philadelphia, PA (the starting point of the republic of the United States) alone, on Election Day.

  14. I was in NYC yesterday, well actually I was LEAVING NYC yesterday, and we were stopped in traffic in Midtown – when all of a sudden I notice a TRUMP sticker on a big pick-up truck. It was a beautiful truck, and had some fancy custom camo trim, and some fancy wheels and grill. I was trying to snap a pic of the sticker, missed the chance because traffic actually moved for a wonder, but I got a side snap. I looked up and there is a black dude behind the wheel.
    NYC. Trump sticker. Macked pick-up. Black driver.
    I mean – New York City!

  15. I have to admit I was never a fan of Trump through the 80’s and all the way up to 2012. I never watched the apprentice even once.
    When he questioned oblamer’s BC I thought hell yeah! Then he shut up when the bogus photoshopped digital image was released. That pissed me off.
    But what has been going in this year is amazing! There is not one thing that he has said that wasn’t already stirring in my mind before he says it. He has every facet of the establishment in a tizzy. What can be wrong with that?
    Since he announced I have been researching him and studying his interviews and speeches. I have decided he is either the most effective con man in history, or he is really the most sincere, informed and decisive man alive. I am tending toward the latter more and more each day.
    Call it an FU vote, or whatever. I will happily pull the lever that says “Trump”.

  20. We got “involved” in the VAGOP machine and it bit us in the ass. Before we left for SC I voted and at the last minute I swear they turned my ticket all dem. Paper ballots forever! I couldn’t recognize my town upon returning what with all the hijab spin the grocery store.

  21. This is what I’ve been saying about political polling for YEARS now.

    First off, nobody I know has ever been polled (and I’ve asked everyone) and even if you were called on the phone, no normal person would pick it up and divulge their feelings to a total stranger, especially in an era where the IRS is targeting political enemies.

    So telephone polling is skewed by the fact that either the pollee is the type of moron who actually answers 1-800 calls, or because some people will answer the phone and specifically lie to the pollster to screw with the results.

    An online poll is you volunteering how you really feel.

  24. VA is asking for a “loyalty pledge?” Isn’t that electioneering in a polling place? That’s illegal, isn’t it? I can’t imagine being told who and who not to vote for. An American’s vote is sacred stuff.

    Either that, or sign it and vote for Trump anyway. Hee hee.
