I never liked “It’s A Wonderful Life.” It’s supposed to be a Christmas movie, but only the last five minutes has anything to do with Christmas.

Just like only the last few days in December have anything to do with Christmas. All the rest is merchandising.

YUP, the idiot hires family, who can’t be trusted with money, and then the people of the town have to bail him out. And I don’t think he ever boinked Donna Reed. And if ever there was an annoying child – the one at the end, with the angel and the bell ringing.
speaking of perpetual screwups, I did enjoy him as Doc Boone in ‘Stagecoach’
Every Rankin & Bass Christmas classic beats the snot outta A Wonderful Life. I’ve yet to make it through the whole movie.
I’m a sucker for It’s A Wonderful Life (as well as most of Frank Capra’s movies) although I don’t watch it very often because it can get old real fast. And Jimmy Stewart movies, especially Harvey.
