Ya, we knew Daniel Murphy wasn’t resigning with the Mets. But, on Christmas Eve we learn that he’s going to THE NATIONALS????? The friggin’ Nationals!!!!???

Good riddance. We replaced him with a better player anyway. Neil Walker from the Pittsburgh Pirates. (I’m sure JC Lady, ardent Pirates fan, thinks Neil Walker is a douchebag now.)
Hey we’re less than two months away from pitchers and catchers reporting for Spring training in mid February. Then Winter will officially be over for us diehard baseball fans. Go Mariners, yea I know about Hell freezing over and all that but at least Iwakuma is back with them next year. No Giants or Royals next year and go Cubbies or da bums AKA the LA Dodgers.

As much as I hate losing Walker, these guys are part of a business where they go to the money. Can’t blame them.
Do I think Walker is a douchebag? No. Do I think he has gotten the best deal for his current contract situation? Yes.
