Bongino: The Year in Big Government

feds big government

ConservativeReview: I really enjoy writing my “This Week in Big Government” columns at Conservative Review. Keeping you informed of serious stories involving the expanding power of government, which receive minimal mainstream-media coverage, in the midst of your extremely busy lives as parents and breadwinners, is a responsibility I take very seriously. Now that 2015 is in our rear-view mirrors, I want to cover what I think are some of the most important big-government stories of last year, which were largely ignored by the mainstream-media.

Social Security and Your Second Amendment Rights:

Seeking to expand their ability to limit your right to protect yourself and your family, the Obama administration moved to ban millions of Social Security recipients, who need help in managing their financial affairs, from purchasing firearms.

Why This Matters to You:

The Barack Obama crusade against the right to self-protection is an obsession for him and his ideological acolytes. They will never stop their aggressive pursuit of a disarmed society of potential victims for terrorists and violent criminals. These people are the epitome of hypocrisy as many of them are protected by well-armed security details who use firearms as tools to keep the wolves far away. What the Obama administration and its army of far-left hoplophobes cannot accomplish by legislation, they will attempt to force through via Executive Order and rule making.

The EPA Expands its Power:

This is a story which should have received major national media attention but was largely ignored by most outlets outside of the conservative media environs

  1. Funny how we’re not quite at the peak of baby boomers going on social security and this government wants to possible ban guns based on the fact that they “might mismanage” their financial affairs and these are the generations that not only bought guns but also inherited them too….
