Tracy Curtis-Taylor set out from Great Britain in October with the intent to fly all the way to Sydney in a vintage 1942 Boeing Stearman.
23 countries and 50 stops later, she arrived yesterday.

That is a beautiful airplane. She’s kinda cute also.
i didnt know the Stearman was that large.
“Curtis-Taylor”
Just the name alone conjures up thoughts of airplanes.
Nice to see someone taking on a challenge with grace and a sense of adventure.
She admitted she had “lost my rag several times”
TMI 😉
Boeing Steerman?
Why not a Curtiss powered Taylorcraft?
Good for her!
I like Taylorcrafts. They perform pretty good for 65hp.
Those radial engines sound great. It appears her’s is the standard 220hp. Some of the Stearmans have been retrofitted with Pratt & Whitney R985s. 450hp.
