One of my favorite actors. Hans Gruber in Die Hard, Alexander Dane in Galaxy Quest, and Professor Severus Snape in Harry Potter. My favorite was Colonel Brandon in Sense and Sensibility. I will miss your beautiful voice.

I forgot to add he was the Sheriff of Nottingham in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves and the voice of Marvin in the 2005 remake of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.

He was long one of my and Mrs. Uncle’s favorites. Too many great performances to pick any particular standout from an acting perspective, but Hans Gruber appealed to me most. Deliciously evil!
