ONN- At least 216 babies born alive died during botched abortions in hospitals throughout the Canadian province of Quebec between 2000 and 2012, according to a new Quebec study.
The post-abortive deaths of the 216 abortion survivors are considered to have a “non-negligible” upward impact on the eastern Canadian province’s infant mortality rate, say the authors of the study. The researchers complain that Quebec must alter the way hospitals record such deaths and insist that the abortion-surviving babies must me more closely monitored to see how they are cared for during the few hours of life they experience outside the womb in hospitals. more
