Winter Storm Weather Alert Update

If you’re in Cape May, New Jersey, you might not have snow, but it looks like Governor Christie might be declaring a state of emergency there anyway.

Road conditions could be slick.

  1. We have been watching from up here in the Northern Rockies as our countrymen in the eastern part of the nation prepare to do battle with this life-or-death, mega monstrously super powerful evil enemy sweeping down upon them with fury and vengeance. Yes, this dirty bastard has a name; this evil force from the anus of hell is known by all who tremble at the mention of its name on The Weather Channel…WINTER! Lo, what fresh hell is being released upon the innocent, beleaguered citizens of the east? Fear not for the corpulent Governor of NJ will take to any available microphone and seize upon free air time and dares any jackanapes to accuse him of aggrandizement and grandstanding in campaign season.
Now take up your arms of shovel and salt and meet the enemy head on! We have your back.

  2. Here in Syracuse we average about 120″ of snow a year. We always keep about two-three weeks of groceries available for any contingency. I may have to switch to powered coffee creamer instead of fresh Half n Half if things get bad.

I remember the blizzard of March, 1993. I stood on my front porch which is 12″ off the ground and started shoveling at the level of my chin.
