Spokeswoman learns Trump will skip Fox debate while on the air

WashingtonTimes: Donald Trump’s team failed to tell campaign spokeswoman Katrina Pierson about the billionaire businessman’s decision to boycott a GOP primary debate hosted this week by Fox News, and she had to find out about it during a live interview on CNN.

The moment occurred after CNN’s Erin Burnett learned during a panel discussion that Trump’s campaign had confirmed that he “definitely” would not participate in a debate on Jan. 28.

“[T]his is now confirmed,” the cable host said. “Campaign manager, you’re the spokesperson for the campaign, did you just learn about it here?”  MORE

  1. Oh Good Lord! The Donald said “I probably won’t show up.”
Some campaign guy said “He may not attend.” Another Campaign guy said “He will not appear.” Katrina didn’t know, so she was , you might say blindsided by Erin Burnett. Big fucking deal.
Obama found out about “Fast and Furious,” The IRS Scandal, and probably “The Benghazi road bump” while reading the New York Times at breakfast at noon on the days of them happening.
“What difference, at this time, does it make.”?

  2. Cruz will put them in their place since Trump is placing his tail between his legs, All bark and no bite.
He is just leaving it to Cruz to put up the conservative fight, because when a true man is called, he fights and Trump will just tweet.

  3. An interesting take:
EXCERPT: “However, it’s also more than a little hypocritical for the same republican voices who were shouting at republican nominees in 2011/2012, for walking into traps with CNN’s Candy Crowley and ABC’s George Stephanopolous, to now be clutching their pearls when 2016 republican frontrunner Donald Trump recognizes the construct in Fox News and avoids it.”

  4. I have not, nor will I watch the GOP debates, as the majority of likely GOP primary voters will not.

Fox’s beauty contest, gotcha mentality and ratings war brings little, if nothing, to the table except advertising revenue and giving the weak “undercard” GOPe a forum to make short sound bite attacks at at the front-runners.

Long ago GOP candidates accentuated the stark differences between the GOP and the Dems.

Today the GOPe are more aligned with the liberal progressives of the Dem. party and have chosen to destroy their own.

I might as well watch Hillary and Bernie do the same. Not !
