  1. always remember that when you look into the eyes of a child, you are seeing god close up

they were delivered by god, they are the closest to heaven that we can witness daily

    what a blessing

  2. I used to bite their little asses, nuzzele their bellies snort, snort, throw them on the bed, hit them with pillows, blow hard in their face so they lost their breath. throw them in the air and they screamed with laughter. Ah those were the days my friends, and they ended too quickly

  3. I don’t know if what I believe is theologically sound or not, but I’m guessing that God created all souls when he created in the “six days.”

Those souls when they came to earth in a little human body still remember who God is and pray to Him, until they are distracted by this world, and have to be reintroduced to Him. Thankfully, many never loose their connection to Him.

Most grandparents might agree after experiencing the continence of newborns during sincere and calm adult audible prayer. Those moments are held dear and precious in my heart.

Sadly, harried and tired parents might totally miss those moments.

  4. I think you’re right PJ. With maybe one exception – I do believe that all souls were present from the beginning and we chose to have our experience here before returning. I could be wrong about that.

As a toddler, I remember feeling connected to where I came from and wondering why others didn’t share that.

My childhood NDE felt like a vivid visit to the void that surrounds all of creation and I knew no one else that had an experience like that, so I thought I must be wrong and started the effort to “be in this world” and feel connected to those around me. More often than not, feeling a step off.

What an idiot to desire such a thing. But I was a mere child.

The feeling of connection to where I came from faded the more I embraced this world – but it didn’t disappear.

Fortunately my memory is excellent enough to not have lost completely what I started out with.
