For the first time since Gallup has kept track, the number of states that lean or are solidly Republican out number their Democrat counterparts. The swing has gone from a net Blue State of 30 in 2008 to a plus Red state of 6 in 2015.

yet… everywhere I look kookburger crap is popping up everywhere in so-called ‘red’ states ….. Dallas & Houston are illegal alien sanctuary cities now….so-called ‘medical marijuana’ is a hot-topic in my (semi) rural area (we used to be considered ‘farm country’) …. killing white people is now condoned & has actually become a government sport … & about 50% of all union ‘workers’ are now found in the government

Regardless of the color of the state, the dumbing down of America continues unabated.
And, we have republican control of both House and Senate with leaders who don’t seem to realize what a majority is.

Even in the blue states, Republicans manage to win geographically. Like in Illinois, you can count 99 Republican counties to three Democrat counties. And even Democrat Illinois managed to elect a Republican governor.
This so-called political dichotomy of red/blue, Dem/Rep, is false. Both sides are two wings on the same bird. The sooner you readers of iotw understand that you are all squabbling over a false dichotomy, the smarter you will be.
