This would not be a problem in China. I used to travel there often on business and while having dinner with some Chinese executives one evening, the server brought out a large pot of soup at the end of the meal. There was a strange piece of meat floating in the broth. I asked my agent what it was and in his decent, but heavy accent, he said, “I think you call it bull deek”.
Those sausages would pair nicely with these Viet Namese gourds.
