Jackoff Kasich not only did not pull; over into the center lane to clear the emergency vehicle with lights on, he kept his right turn signal on when he was sopped and then turned into the left lane with the signal indicating right. Doofus.
Illinois (chicago) expressways had signs that read, “Move over or slow down” for emergency vehicles. The “or” was scratched out and replaced with a dash (–); now reads, “move over — slow down for emergency vehicles.”
What’s the emergency, the recipient of the ticket or the cop issuing the ticket? When is it slow enough? When is it far enough? I hate these signs. I’ve been tempted to stop behind a vehicle with flashing lights and ask how damn long it’s going to take because I got things.
I don’t need to see Kasich act like an ass to already know he’s an ass.
I hope he slips back into political obscurity, and soon.

If he got pulled over by a mailman he’d have shown more respect.
Since when is a private citizen a “client?” That’s what Kasich called people who are stopped by a cop. No, you are not a client, you are a citizen who fucked up.
Technically, Kasich now has an arrest record.

I’m surprised that he didn’t use the tried and true “don’t you know who I am?” defense. Jerk.
This law requiring vehicles to move over because a vehicle is stopped on the side of the road has caused more accidents than it has prevented. It was passed as a favor to the police not as a legitimate way to prevent an accident. But it has gotten out of hand and cars and trucks move to the left carelessly and it serves no purpose.
I don’t know how this kind of stuff ends up on utube, but it’s great they caught the lying weasel and posted it.
