Study: Millennials Love Socialism, Until They Are Footing the Bill

Wapo posts a devastating piece on the young morons.

Research on Millennials’ beliefs show that they are all for socialism while on their parents’ teet, and then enthusiasm wanes when they start seeing how much of their own paycheck is carved out for the philosophy they once believed in.

Once they are off the campus, out of the nest, socialism sucks.

The only holdouts are the students who have accumulated debt, and have no marketable skills to offer to help pay for their degree in Inuit Flute Music.

  1. We just witnessed a great wave of socialism/nationalism take hold in 2009 with Too Big To Fail and government run health care. We continue, 7 years later, to struggle with those choices. Finding a well paying job has become more difficult by design. Those that remain under employed levy socialism on current government practices. It’s a problem created by government for the sake of more government to control/repair/fix/run your life. The alternative is either impossible or too difficult in a restricted no-bid economy. It starts in the classroom with bad math, aka common core, to keep a lid on otherwise bright minds.
