I hate public transportation. I rode the bus back and forth to art school for 4 years. I was constantly harassed by inner city types ” I’d like me some white chocolate” and had homeless smelly people try to steal my art bin. I did my time. I’m driving my own car dammit. Light rail can suck it.

and oh, i forgot…….kinda makes me wish we had some form of mass transit here in west virginia….WHICH WE DON’T ….but we certainly could use…….i mean, they made such a big thing about the morgantown/wvu personal transport system, which costs a lot of money and saves a lot of WVU students from having to walk ….um….whole quarters of miles?…..to get to class???….and beliee me it works soooooo well….i know, because both of my sons attended WVU, and they had nothing but good things to say about the personal transit system…….
hah hah hah hah hah…….no really………it, like, toadly SUCKED….and still does…….at great taxpayer expense, but who cares about that, these days….
..but for the rest of us who live in the state…..it’s pretty much “you are on your own” if you want to get from one place to the other…no buses, no trains, no taxis………
i’m not really complaining…….most of us would rather BE ON OUR OWN……..but, on the other hand, we’re not oh so happy about paying taxes for students who can’t handle a quarter mile walk…..
