County by county breakdown since July 1, 2015:

Adams – 212 Republicans switched to Democrats. 331 Independents switched to Democrats. 539 Democrats and 460 Independents changed to Republican.

Cumberland – 742 Republicans and 1,060 Independents are now Democrats. Meanwhile, 1,399 Democrats and 1,100 Independents switched to Republican.

Franklin – 257 Republicans and 469 Independents changed to Democrats. 784 Democrats and 660 Independents are now Republicans.

Lancaster – 1,435 Republicans and 2,087 Independents switched to Democrat. On the other side, 2,145 Democrats and 1,967 Independents are now Republican.

Lebanon – 391 Republicans and 449 Independents are now Democrats. Meanwhile, 887 Democrats and 603 Independents became Republicans.

Mifflin – 92 Republicans and 55 Independents became Democrats. 268 Democrats and 154 Independents are now Republicans.

Dauphin – 849 Republicans and 1,227 Independents are now Democrats. 1,586 Democrats and 867 Independents became Republicans.

York – 1,146 Republicans and 1,456 Independents are now Democrats. 2,750 Democrats and 1,739 Independents switched to Republicans.

Conversely- 86,000 Republicans and Independents switched to the Democrat party.

Republicans enjoyed a 41,000 voter net gain.

Pennsylvania has been hit hard in this economy, with manufacturing jobs being lost to other countries.

Republicans have not won a presidential race in Pennsylvania since 1988. It will be interesting to watch this year.
