LADN: Residents from the Inland Empire to the California coast may be in store for power outages and higher electricity rates this summer if a northern San Fernando Valley natural gas storage facility remains depleted, officials warned on Tuesday.
Utility regulators announced that Southern California could face 14 days of rolling blackouts if the Southern California Gas Co.’s Aliso Canyon energy facility above Porter Ranch remains depleted.
