NBC Philadelphia: A western Pennsylvania man set up a fake drunken-driving checkpoint only to be charged with drunken driving himself when real troopers arrived to investigate.

The Somerset Daily American says 20-year-old Logan Shaulis will be sentenced June 27. He pleaded guilty Thursday to drunken driving, possessing instruments of crime, and impersonating a public servant. more here

    In any case, it would be alot more effective than the, “Are you here to commit acts of terrorism?” questions on immigration forms.

  2. Well, I wouldn’t be too sure about that – I hear that those immigration forms have resulted in the arrest and prosecution of hundreds of people who were not familiar enough with English to know not to check the “yes” box. They also nailed a bunch of nearsighted folks, too.

  3. Impersonating a public servant? That would be easy to do – all you have to do is be heartless, arrogant, corrupt and act like an asshole.
