Those companies include two for the couple’s personal finances and three for the foundation, according to the documents, which were first reported by the Washington Free Beacon.

All five are filed at 1209 North Orange Street in Wilmington. The address is shared with companies like Google, Apple, Bank of America, Coca-Cola, Ford, General Electric and more than 280,000 others that use the facility to take advantage of the state’s tax laws.  more

  1. This is normal for any large business that wants to incorporate and take advantage of existing laws. Delaware has been this way for decades, an absentee business paradise.

  2. “Delaware is where you incorporate if you want to provide as little corporate information as possible. ”

…And they wonder why I do not trust the Media? Thank you General Lovell.

  3. Hillary and Bill Clinton set up two shell companies listed at “1209 North Orange Street” in 2008 and 2013. The companies were first made public in tax filings released by Hillary Clinton.

Another company at the same location, ZFS Holdings, LLC, was set up in February 2013, one week after Hillary Clinton left the State Department.

It is important to note that Clinton’s Delaware-based companies have not been implicated in any criminal acts as it is perfectly legal for anyone, including out of state residents to form business entities in the state.

Since late 2008, Clinton’s spouse, former President Bill Clinton, has used the limited liability company as a pass-through for his speech and consulting income, an increasingly commonplace practice since LLCs can shield business owners’ personal assets from some lawsuits and potentially offer some tax benefits.

The Romney shell company was particularly eyebrow-raising because it was based in Bermuda and could potentially have been used to skirt U.S. tax laws. A web video posted during the 2012 campaign by President Barack Obama’s campaign accused the Republican presidential contender of “keeping his money in offshore tax havens.”

“Here’s the question,” the Obama video asked. “Is not technically breaking the law a high enough standard for someone who wants to be president of the United States?”
