MRCtv: Students at the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art are being instructed not to report rape to the police because police officers are often men and putting sexual assault perpetrators in jail contributes to the “harmful police state.”
A flier obtained by MRCTV states, in the case of rape, “DO NOT CALL THE POLICE.” Instead, students are encouraged to call a hospital or Safe Horizons, a victim services non-profit.
I agree. Don’t report rapists, just kill them where they are and dump the carcass in the nearest construction dumpster. No one will miss them.

Cooper Union is a private college dedicated to science, architecture, engineering and um art. The college was founded by maverick industrialist Peter Cooper who believed in free education. The history is fascinating. Admission rate is 6-10%. It looks like tuition is free, or has been.

They recently changed that free tuition thing. It has been a great controversy with the alumns fighting the change. Don’t know how it finally worked out.

I think the annual tuition is a little over 40K per year however they give a free grant to every student coming in of about 20K so the actual out of pocket (excluding any other grants from the school) is about 20K. From what I read it seems like a pretty good school with some high standards that now is falling under the PC/SJW shadows. Too bad but probably inevitable.
