Wizbang: It took only 3 hours for an all-white jury in Tulsa County to convict Oklahoma’s Barney Fife for the shooting death of an unarmed black man.
This particular case had the potential of becoming another Ferguson, MO.* The man who died was face-down on the ground, handcuffed and held by four law officers when Tulsa County Reserve Deputy Robert Bates shot the man in the back.
The 73-year-old Bates thought that he was holding a taser instead of a gun when he pulled the trigger. more
