That permit should be valid in all 50 states. A driver’s license works in every state, so it’s common sense that a concealed carry permit should work in every state. If we can do that for driving – which is a privilege, not a right – then surely we can do that for concealed carry, which is a right, not a privilege.

The state of New York will not honor any other concealed carry permits or licenses from other states.
California, Delaware, New York (city only??)….. Is there anyone else that doesn’t recognize the rights of out of state license holders? Someone has to know better than me, I just want a short list of places to always avoid.

Oregon I believe falls in that category. If you have a Utah or Arizona permit they are good for about 31 states I believe. I have an AZ and I think they just added Nevada. There’s no rhyme or reason to ccw reciprocity. But it seems to me if you have a permit in one state it should be good for all.

Although the linked article is new, the original Washington Post story is from last September. More power to him – the neverTrumpers aren’t recognizing that while he may not be a ‘pure’ conservative he stands with us on plenty of major issues. And Killary stands with us on zero.
Some states will issue permits to residents of other states if they meet all the requirements, including holding a permit in their home state. I have one for my own state, and for Utah, which makes me good for most places I’d ever want to go. Not much use to me since the tragic boating accident, though.
All these boating accidents have the fish clamoring for more gun control in their schools….
I doubt anyone’s real concerned, but I moved a step closer to the Trump camp today when John McCain and Jeff Flake said that it will be tough for them to get re-elected with Trump on the GOP ticket. Sounds like an added benefit to me
