Miriam Ben-Shalom was all set to be this year’s grand marshal for Milwaukee’s Pride Parade till the invitation was rescinded by parade organizers last week.
It seems Miriam wasn’t inclusive enough on her Facebook page towards transsexuals using Women’s bathrooms.
Miriam is known as the first woman to be reinstated by the U.S. army after getting discharged for being openly lesbian. Miriam upset parade organizers by saying “transwomen are a danger to young girls in public bathrooms and locker rooms.”
Now there’ll be no grand marshal for the parade.
