CHICAGO (WLS) –Security lines at airports in Chicago and across the country are longer than ever. Now airlines are fighting back.
About 450 American Airlines passengers trying to fly out of O’Hare International Airport Sunday night couldn’t get to the gate on time. Airport employees offered them cots to sleep on overnight.
“Got here two and a half hours before my flight and security took two to three (hours) to get through,” said Kevin Revis, a stranded traveler.
“I’d never seen this before. Completely unexpected,” said Adnan Ahmed, who was also stuck in Chicago. more

TSA is a farce. It’s all show and no go.
They employ the incompetent and do very little (if anything) to increase security.
Repeal the ‘Patriot’ Act. Flush the DHS, the TSA, and the rest of the unconstitutional crap in it.
Then start with the criminal prosecutions of the people in those agencies.

Why all the flying? I’m in my 70’s never been on an airplane. I drive to Florida from the North
and back again. I love to drive that stretch.
Then I drive out West to Vegas for a vacation. Driving is still fun.

@Why fly, I love to drive, too. But I have to fly for business once or twice a year. The last time (last month) I got through TSA in 30 minutes but my co-worker almost missed the plane. He had a couple of cables or wires for his electronics in his carry on. We joked with him (AFTER we were out of the airport) that he should have told them it was a clock.
They’re still looking fer their first terrorist, but even a blind TSA squirrel can find yer nuts!
Once again guys, go easy on the TSA.

This is all a scam. The govt finds it easier to track and keep tabs on travelers if they are in the Pre-Check program. The TSA is grossly abusing the traveling public with horrendous long lines to try to get them to pony up the $$$ and personal info to go through the express lanes.
