Unreported Until Recently – Trump Once Sent Private Plane To Bring Troops Home From Gulf War

DML– In a podcast with Fox News Host Sean Hannity, Corporal Ryan Stickney revealed he and 200 of his fellow marines during the 1991 Gulf War were flown home by presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump’s private plane. After returning to Camp Lejeune in North Carolina in 1991, Stickney and the marines were unable to get home to their families in Miami, FL due to a logistics error barring their flight. Hearing of this, Trump at the time sent his private jet to get the marines home sooner to their families. Trump did not charge the marines or the camp base for the costs of the travel. It was all free and out of the kindness of Trump’s heart Stickney mentioned.

New iotw format sucks. It looks like hot air which also sucks. 2016 is not the time to mess with your previously great format.

  2. Yer link to Snopes is crapola about some other unrelated BS.

But, I want to take this opportunity to thank BFH for working over 26 hours straight on this new site.

  3. GTSA, if Nopes is “debunking” it, chances are good that there is a kernel of truth which they are studiously ignoring in order to get that big, fat “False” rating.

  4. Hey Fur, The new site is awesome. Absolutely love it. Fuck that guy. Runs super fast on my PC and my mobile devices. And surprisingly I’m really enjoying the lack of the self gratifying thumbs up. Good job bro.

  5. I turned ad-blockers off and don’t have major delays now. Thanks, BFH, I’ll leave ad-blockers off now that even my low bandwidth can handle it.

  6. He didn’t even own the Trump Shuttle at the time…….Trump Shuttle never turned a profit. The high debt load incurred in the company’s formation unnerved Trump’s creditors as his other high profile, highly leveraged interests failed. In September 1990 the loans were defaulted and ownership of the airline passed to its creditor banks, led by Citicorp. With airline share prices depressed by the recession and anticipation of the Gulf War, they were unable to sell the operation at a desired price despite lengthy negotiations first with Northwest Airlines, then American Airlines and US Air Group.
