CampusReform:
- A professor at the University of California, Los Angeles asked her students to leave cover during a lockdown Wednesday and expose themselves to an active shooter situation in order to complete a final exam.
- Prof. Vivian Lew eventually cancelled the second section of the exam after students complained, but only after the first section was already over.
- UPDATE: This story has been updated to include comment from Lew, who denies being aware of the lockdown despite mentioning it in her original email.

Was the office locked from the outside?
I hope you guys are following the breaking news on this story. Sounds like some Jihadi shit going on.
T’was the case, BB. The guy shot his girlfriend to death (studip kafir) before driving from MN to Los Angeles, had a kill list, and had moslem as his ‘religion’ listed on something called everipedia. That factoid has been changed to Hindu. Mysteriously. Amazing conversions, don’t you think?
I’m sure each student had their carry weapon and were ready to shoot to kill.
This bit of people cowering in fear for miles around anyone using a firearm is moronic.
If you are in a locked room, so far away that you cannot hear the shots, shitting into your hand would be more productive than cowering and hiding. At least something would be accomplished.
Lew is a professor of statistics.
As far as I am concerned, if leaving a safe area to take a final exam has a statistical probability of me getting killed of more than 0%,then I’m sorry, I can’t take the exam.
She is a professor at UCLA, and you expect common sense?
