All of these speeches by potential first ladies are pretty cookie cutter in their message – working hard to get ahead and raising a beautiful family.
But I think the right are authentic and speaking from the heart and telling the truth when they talk about the hardscrabble life leading to prosperity if you have a virtuous plan and stick to it.
The left is faking it.
I have to laugh at Michelle’s speech, or any leftist’s speech, when I hear “working hard for what you want in life” and ” the only limit to the height of your achievements is the reach of your dreams and your willingness to work for them.”
Meanwhile, the left is all about wealth redistribution, and Michelle’s husband doesn’t believe “you built that.”
