There’s a vast difference between “persecution” and “discrimination.”
I “discriminate” when I choose a Riesling over a Rhine – or a single Malt over a blend. That in NO WAY suggests that I “persecute” Rhines or blended whiskeys.
There is a world of difference between a white person not wanting to live in a predominantly negro neighborhood and a state policy of FORCING negroes to live in ghettos. (I use negroes as an example, drawn from the fact that my first home was purchased in Palmer Park, MD, when I was 19 – HUGE mistake)
