Army General Curtis Scaparrotti, NATO’s top commander, recently spoke out about NATO countries not paying their fair share, echoing the Trump criticism which has been widely panned.
WASH EXAM- Pressuring NATO members to meet their commitments is a position Trump has not backed off of, despite criticism from Democrats and some national security experts, who argue it sends the wrong message and could embolden Russian President Vladimir Putin, who has already seized territory in Ukraine, which is not a NATO member.
Scaparrotti, NATO’s supreme commander, says as of now only five of the 28 NATO nations are meeting their pledge to spend at least 2 percent of their gross domestic product on defense.
Without mentioning his name, Scaparrotti agreed with Trump’s point that without all countries in the alliance paying their fair share, it can’t be militarily effective.

Yeah. I think this will happen quite often. The Enslaved Press has the objective of making Trump look like A) he doesn’t know what he’s talking about and B) he comes down on the wrong side because of it. Just like how they tried to portray Reagan as dimwitted and doddering or GW Bush as stupid. They have their marching orders and they’re going to stick to them no matter what.
The thing that infuriates me is watching these so-called “conservative” websites who are picking up on these hit-jobs in the Enslaved Press and taking them as gospel. These sites who used to know not to trust the news media now just accept the premise of every story and join in the howling and screaming about how stupid, dangerous and incompetent Trump is. They are so determined to be proven right in their hair-on-fire opinions about Trump, they’ll even buy a story printed in Politico.

Scaparotti will be given the petraeus treatment shortly. Look for him to be engulfed in some scandal and given the bum’s rush out of the army before the election.

Trump has been paying attention for over thirty years. It is now that he has decided to do something about it by running for President. He has had enough of the wishy-washy same old same old he has seen. It has been a long time and he is standing up and taking charge to do what needs to be done. Not just another tool from the grand old party drawer with a next tag on it. A man that values a good days work. Does what he says he will do. If he makes a promise he keeps it. Knows where to draw the line. Understands that some things are not for sale. Finishes what he starts. Does what he thinks is right. A MAN who has also had enough!
