12. The community in the photo is not below sea level or behid a levee. It flooded because it got 31 inches of rain in one night. Another difference is that everybody is helping rescue and rebuild and nobody is shooting at the first responders.

15. Exactly what I was thinking watching the radar over Louisiana those 4+ days. This is Katrina-level flooding. Where’s the eyeball-exploding blood-rage against Obola for his blind indifference to all this deadly flooding?

17. the two main reasons why Katrina killed so many people in New Orleans is this: 1) Ray Nagin (DEMOCRAT Mayor of New Orleans, didnt do a mnadatory order for the first responders to show up for work AND he didnt follow the city’s own pre-planned evacuation plan to use city school buses to evacuate New Orelanians to higher ground, 2) the Louisiana Governor was some broad, Whosiewattzir Blanco (DEMOCRAT) – when she was elected, everyone in LA knew they were really electing her husband, a convicted felon who couldnt run for office but would be calling the shots. But Mr Blanco was out of the country when Katrina hit and his feckless fucktard of a dithering imbecile wife couldnt make any decisions. Hubby couldnt run the disaster relief by remote control and “Gov” Blanco didnt lift a fucking finger FOR DAYS to ask for federal disaster assistance, leaving Pres. Bush’s hands tied.

    Also, the corrupt US Army Corps of Engineers had given permits to barge companies owned by well-heeled Democrats to tie their barges up to the levees protecting NOLA. By the time Katrina’s eye – moving in a northeasterly direction – had made landfall at Pillottown southeast of the city, it had already begun weakening to a weak Cat 4, down from a strong Cat 5. NOLA never got in the dangerous 12-to-3 o’clock portion of the hurricane, it was on the weaker 9-to-12 portion. If the levees hadnt failed due to the barges breaking loose and Corps of Engineers corruption, Katrina would have never been the household word for DISASTER.
