Trump is heading to MEXICO: Republican candidate confirms he will meet with president on whirlwind visit ahead of major speech in Arizona which will finally clarify his immigration policy.
In a tweet to his 11million followers, Donald Trump confirmed: ‘I have accepted the invitation of President Enrique Pena Nieto, of Mexico, and look very much forward to meeting him.’ The meeting would have to be a brief affair – sandwiched between a California fundraiser in the morning and a night time address in Phoenix where Trump is expected to give a campaign-defining speech on immigration. His tough-on-immigration attitude in the early days of his candidacy has been met with anger both in the US and abroad. Announcing his presidential campaign in June, Trump promised his Republican followers that he would build a ‘great, great wall’ along the Mexico-US border. He further inflamed tensions with the Latin country by claiming he would ‘get Mexico to pay for it’.

The physical wall is pretty much irrelevant, it’s the policies and enforcement that will change things. The reality is that it’s good for Mexico to have a normal border, without all the corruption and death happening to its people. As always, when rules are enforced it makes things better for everyone.

The banks won’t allow any effective border closures. Their profit margins on laundering those tons of cash will be violently protected.
