The Problem

Every year, we see countless headlines of halloween costumes, sold and worn, that perpetuate racist, cultural stereotypes.

The Solution

Tell people why costumes like “Señor Bones” and other Day of the Dead costumes are culturally appropriative — in other words, how they exploit elements of a culture. By educating others on why these costumes are offensive, you can help people make better decisions in their costume selection for Halloween.

The lower the rating on the costume, the less likely people will see them, and buy them. Let’s work together to give these appropriative and offensive costumes what they deserve, 1 star for hate.

What You Get

Sign up for facts on cultural appropriation and tips on educating people about it. You’ll also receive a list of offensive costumes and a snarky review text to post to discourage people from buying those costumes online. You’ll also enter for the chance to win a $1,500 scholarship!

  1. We need a Counter Swarm of reviews that alert the public to the fact that these are Nazi Propaganda Ministers In Training.
If we lose the freedom of having hot women choose the Naughty Corrections Officer costume it’s over.

  2. the headline of the story, “people are winning prizes for giving online negative reviews to product progressives don’t like”,

made me immediately think of the msm and the pulitzer prize.

    funny, huh?

  3. The headline confused me. I was hoping it was satire and clicked onto the site. Got to see all those young pod people smiling back at me. Now that is real Halloween horror!

  4. Go to there website and check out the cutesy bullshit design. Then go to the financials and see that they rake in about 10 mill a year in grants and donations and the top 6 people pay themselves over 100K per year. I couldn’t find the list of donors or grants but it seems a little dodgy in that where they list the officers of the company the photos are all of kids and there’s no bio’s. There’s no bio’s for anyone. It could be on the up and up but I’d be interested in seeing where the money is coming from.

  5. scr_north – Bingo! You nailed it.

Most of the leftwing Progressive sites that claim to be grass-roots are in reality pure 100% Astro-Turf, FAKE “grass-roots” organizations that are created by and funded by asshole leftist billionaires like Soros, Cuban, Bloomieberg, Gates, Paul Allen, Bezos, Corzine (shouldn’t he be in jail getting gang-raped?), Buffett, etc
