Please don’t take my flippant quip to mean the hurricane itself was no big deal because it didn’t impact me personally. This was a lethal hurricane, and people should always heed emergency warnings. But the inland portions of Port St. Lucie were spared. Power and internet are on as of now.
Now I have to figure out if all the roads are clear to GET BACK!

Well I am inland and the surrounding towns of Oviedo like Winter Springs and Sanford have no power. But it does seem damage is not to bad but than again they were expecting the Hurricane to travel further west when it reached this area.

I did hear on the radio a few minutes ago that a 58 year old woman had a heart attack in Port St. Lucie and died because emergency services couldn’t get to her.
