Title X is a provision created by our federal government 46 years ago to federal fund “family planning clinics.” It’s yet another means to insure taxpayer money goes to Planned Parenthood. At least that’s the way the Obama administration sees it and is attempting to change HHS rules to withhold Title X money from states who have defunded PP. Pro-life groups are fighting Obama’s attempt to keep state money flowing to the abortion provider.
HHS’s Office of Population Affairs cites a Guttmacher Institute (the research / propaganda arm of PP) study claiming that for every Title X dollar spent it saved $3.74 dollars in Medicaid costs in 2008.
Title X is designed to serve “individuals with limited English proficiency, teenagers, and those confronting complex medical and personal issues such as substance abuse, disability, homelessness or interpersonal and domestic violence.”
Who says PP is the best means to provide birth control in each state? Obama does. If other “family planning clinics” receive state money, they may just prove to be a better alternative than the abortion server.
The will of the people and the rule of law, must be a great source of amusement for these people.
