I’m Actually Going To Give Credit Where Credit Is Due- Tamron Hall Does a Good Thing

Petrus has been sending me Corey Feldman clips because he knows I enjoy horrible entertainment, and Corey Feldman is exquisitely bad. He’s got a barely competent all-girl band backing up some pretty awful music. Feldman’s look and stage show is ridiculously pretentious, complete with weird meaningless voguing and stupid wardrobe. It’s worth watching just to see how low your jaw can get.

In this particular clip Feldman busts out a tiny American flag, like the one Caitlyn Jenner had after she won the decathlon. (That wasn’t Caitlyn?? Then who was it??)

After waving the flag for a few seconds, the moron Feldman tosses it on the stage.

As soon as his crappy song ends, and the audience half-heartedly applauds because the sign tells them to, Tamron Hall runs out onto the stage and heads right for the flag and picks it up off the floor and hands it back to Feldman.

Way to go Tamron! I’m actually impressed. For a lefty, that’s sort of commendable. Now all you have to do is start defending the principles for which the flag stands. The first step would be to denounce Hillary Clinton. But I guess I’ll have to be content with your defense of flag protocol and decorum. (You should have shamed Feldman on air!)

  1. Corey Feldman?!?
GEEZ, Fur, I’m worried about ‘cha.

I mean, Roger Waters (Baltimore fame…GO Lexington Market!!!) was popular (not with me) for his kitsch and trash, but this guy is [insert latest COOL word for] SHIT (apologies to Waters’ Divine).

Would be nice if it resonated with others watching…who knows.

I’m waiting for a [insert modern equivalent term for] PUNK Doris Day.

  2. This had nothing to do with her appreciation for flag etiquette. It has everything to do with risk management and branding. She picked up the flag to mitigate the backlash from the viewers.

  3. If what Feldman says about the long time sexual abuse he (and a pile of other child actors) endured at the hands of Hollywood bigshots is true I think he’s got a reason to be a bit of a fuck-up. I’d cut him a break.
