Vegetarian Since 4th Grade, a Woman Eats Meat Again

I want to believe this is genuine, but she works for The Onion.

Despite her job, this is supposedly authentic.  It’s worth a watch.

  1. I rarely eat red meat these days-I haven’t been hunting since I’ve been in Texas so no deer but about 6 months ago, I dined out with my gal in Lubbock and had a Texas raised Wagyu strip. OMGod! I’ve certainly eaten plenty of steaks in my life but this steak, seared and very rare, just melted. I have never tasted anything like it.

If you ever get the chance to try it, do it. It was pricey, $90! for 14 oz but what the hey, it was a celebration anyway.

  2. Her glibness is what seems at odds with a life long vegetarian.

No reluctance. No hint of giving up whatever motive there was for being a vegetarian in the first place.

I would ask her why she was so strict about not eating meat for so long. That takes commitment, which seemed so easily cast aside.

  3. It has always seemed to me that most vegetarians decided on a youthful emotional impulse. Read about anti nutrients in vegetables. Also impossible to get creatine from plants.

  4. Fake
Lazlo went Veg for a while in my yoot (probably because of some chick with a pleasing boob/brain ratio).
Lost a lot of weight for a guy who was thin already
I kept craving a steak, so one day I went out and had one.
I was the entertainment for the day at the Coffee Shop as I went through the Life Changing Experience.
I could not talk other than ‘Oh my God’
The sensations of my ALL body’s systems shouting ‘Hallelujah!’ at the same time overloaded my brain.
I had what felt like long dormant saliva glands come online and start firing on all cylinders.
What hit me most was an overwhelming sense of ‘rightness’ coming from my body.
I had two in a row.

  5. Looks staged and not very original. Yup, Onion.

I have seriously tried vegetarianism a couple of times, trying to deal with some Upper GI health issues.
It’s not for me. Although on paper I was getting plenty of protein and tons of vitamins, I was always tired and low-energy.

Pro tip: if you’re trying to avoid cholesterol etc, grilled Tilapia is delicious, high protein, low fat.

  6. Dadof4, I have witnessed three or four folks eating meat for the first time after a long while. Our reactions were night and day from this lady’s.
The sensations coming from your body are no less than overwhelming.

  7. Since she was only NINE YEARS OLD when she (her mother that is) decided to become a vegetarian, that probably means her meat eating experiences was limited to: hotdogs, happy meal burgers, hot pockets and chicken tenders. So, yeah, I see why a medium rare ribeye would bring her to orgasm.
