The one scenario that could still get Hillary into the White House
Though Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by 200,000, Trump has won the minimum of 270 electoral votes necessary to be elected president. As of late Wednesday, he had 290 to Clinton’s 228.
According to the Constitution, chosen electors of the Electoral College are the real people who will vote for president, when they meet on Dec. 19 in their respective state capitals.
However, there is nothing stopping any of the electors from refusing to support the candidate to whom they were bound or by abstaining from voting.
There’s even a name for it: becoming a “faithless elector.”
You know, this would be a good time for some illustrious nevertrumpers to pour cold water on this pipe dream of the left. It would go a long way towards reestablishing good will, George Will. Or Jonah Goldberg. Or Kevin Williamson. Just a thought, guys.

Yep, that would be a great way for Califauxnia and similar uber liberal states to take over the country. We live in a representative republic and not a democracy. The electoral college is a recognition of states rights. If a state goes 5-1 for one candidate is has no more power than the one that goes 51-49 for a candidate.
The only problem for these people is that they don’t know how to create anything, only destroy. They would eat each other alive before anything got accomplished.
The only reason she had more popular votes is because dead people, illegals and fraud. So she really did NOT win the popular vote. So if you want to start a very bloody civil war, go ahead and try it.

This idea is floated every close election – usually by leftists. But not even Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama would allow this to happen, although some looney elector may symbolically switch his or her vote after Trump’s election is validated.
Assuming that the elctoral college does vote for Hillary, chaos would ensue. Republicans in Congress, and probably most traditional Democrats, would refuse to work with her. She would get no appointments confirmed, foreign leaders would be leery of working with her, and most Americans would consider her to be an illegitimate President with no legal authority and feel free to disregard her. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, our system of electing the President would be gutted forever as people lose faith in the process.
Leftists in particular want to turn the US into a banana republic, but despite the close nature of this race, an overwhelming majority of Americans, including most Democrats, would not permit the electoral college to change the results.
My takeaway from http://tinyurl.com/trust-the-java-guys is that as many as 12.7 fraudulent votes were cast, (likely for Hillary,) in the 2016 election. That amounts to one in five pro-Hillary votes. Trump’s FIRST priority should be to pump the liberal voter fraud septic tank before draining any swamps of corruption.
There is a schmuck on Fox trying to say the pollsters were right because Hitlery won the popular vote. These assholes never stop.
