BigGovernment: During a November 13 interview on 60 Minutes,President-elect Donald Trump reminding Americans that he will not sit back and allow anti-gunners to dice up the Second Amendment.
The comments on the Second Amendment came amid a discussion about Supreme Court justice nominations. Leslie Stahl broached the subject by bringing up abortion. She asked, “Will you appoint– are you looking to appoint a justice who wants to overturn Roe v. Wade?”
Trump said his nominees will be “pro-life.” So Stahl pressed harder, and Trump said:
Well, there are a couple of things. They’ll be pro-life, they’ll be–in terms of the whole gun situation, we know the Second Amendment and everybody’s talking about the Second Amendment and they’re trying to dice it up and change it, they’re going to be very pro-Second Amendment. But having to do with abortion if it ever were overturned, it would go back to the states.
This answer is congruent with Trump’s campaign pledges to appoint justices to the Supreme Court “in the mold of Justice Scalia.” On October 9, Trump said his Supreme Court nominees would be “People that will respect the constitution of the United States. And I think that this is so important.” more

Another LEO was murdered yesterday in the Central Valley. That’s six in as many weeks. Most all of them can be laid at the feet of Jerry Brown and his early release of “non violent felons” programs.

What Trump should have done is agree to a prime time special interview on the Fox Network. Then insisted on Rush Limbaugh doing the interview. Rush wouldn’t go easy on him but he wouldn’t try to ambush him either like this Stahl witch. The ratings would have been astronomical.
scr-north: Yeah, I don’t get it, either. And why “60 Minutes” when that show has been regarded as a scandal-uncoverer for decades. It was usually a show to avoid if you had something to hide. How many times have they interviewed oblahblah?
AbigailAdams- The scandal was showing a clip of two white guys holding a Trump sign chanting “white power” and asking Trump to respond. No context, no ID of who they were. They could have been anyone. No link to Trump whatsoever. It stunk on ice.
